Undergraduate

The Faculty of Governance, Economics and Social Sciences offers four undergradute programs, each corresponding to an essential disciplinary field  contributing to the knowledge and renewal of public policies.

The first year of the undergraduate degree is built around a common core, shared by the four FGSES undergraduate degrees - Political Science, International Relations, Applied Economics and Behavioral Sciences for Public Policies. This common core includes, in equal parts, courses in experimental psychology, sociology, political science, international relations and law, to which are added optional courses chosen by the student. At the end of this first year, FGSES students choose a specialization in one of the four degrees offered.

Undergraduate program in Applied Economics

The Applied Economics program provides students with the fundamental skills in economics, particularly in terms of quantitative methods. It also gives them the tools to put theoretical models into practice and to formulate public policies adapted to their contexts.

Undergraduate program in Political Science

The purpose of the Political Science program is to train specialists in the political field to be able to understand and grasp its multiple dimensions with precision. It equips them with the various tools to study and act on it in an informed and efficient way. To form such profiles, the program combines courses intended to jointly develop theoretical hindsight, sensitivity to practical requirements and the art of making decisions.

Undergraduate program in Behavioral Sciences for Public Policy

The Behavioral Sciences for Public Policy program offers training designed to equip students with the wide range of tools available today in the behavioral and social sciences to study populations. This training, now booming in the international academic landscape, is open, in particular, to students who have a taste for the understanding and analysis of individual and collective human behavior, and an interest in development issues.

Undergraduate program in International Relations

The International Relations undergraduate program aims to provide students with the main analytical grids to understand international relations and the interdependencies between countries, regions and international organizations. It also provides tools for the development and analysis of countries' foreign policies, the study and analysis of the positioning of countries in international politics, as well as the identification and analysis of political risks in different spaces.
