Sâ Benjamin TRAORE

He has a Doctorate in Law (Magna Cum Laude), University of Neuchâtel (With a bourse d’exellence of Swiss National Foundation for Scientific Research Doc.ch) (2013-2018).
Prior to his PhD, he completed his LLM in international humanitarian law and human rights at the Geneva Academy of international humanitarian law and human rights, a joint excellence center of the Graduate institute of international and Development studies and the University of Geneva.
In terms of teaching and research, he has extensive experience from one of the most prestigious academic institutions that focuses on international law and politics: the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva where he served as a teaching and research assistant. Moreover, he also worked as a Lecturer at the University of Neuchâtel.
His last position as the Project Coordinator for the African Coalition for Corporate Accountability (ACCA) has given him the opportunity to understand the issues related to the role of law in combating business related human rights and environmental abuses while also allowing him to build a solid network at the regional and international level, whether with AU institutions, state representatives at the UN bodies, or international NGOs.
