Mohammed Amine Benabdallah is an Affiliate Professor at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University.

Professor of public law (constitutional law, administrative law), holder of a State Doctorate in public law at the University of Paris II (Panthéon-Assas). Legal advisor appointed by His Majesty the King to the “Conseil national de l’Ordre des ingénieurs géomètres topographes” since April 2001. Between 2003 and 2008, he was chargé de mission to the Prime Minister and Advisor to the General Secretariat of the Government. Member of the “Conseil Constitutionnel’’ from 2008 to 2017, then member of the “Conseil Supérieur du Pouvoir Judiciaire” since April 2017. In November 2023, he was appointed by His Majesty the King as President of the Moroccan Constitutional Court.

Among his main publications, « Les prérogatives de l’Etat dans le recours pour excès de pouvoir » Rabat, 1982 ; « La police administrative dans le système juridique marocain », Rabat, 1987, in collaboration with Michel Rousset, « Le service public au Maroc», 2014 and 2018, « Contentieux administratif marocain » REMALD 2014, 2018 and 2022. He participated to about twenty collective works in constitutional law and administrative law, in Morocco and abroad.

Professor Benabdallah is the author of some 190 articles and case law notes, collected in two publications: «Contribution à la doctrine du droit constitutionnel marocain », 2005 and «Contribution à la doctrine du droit administratif marocain », 2008, in three volumes.
