MASTER IN BEHAVIORAL AND SOCIAL SCIENCES FOR PUBLIC POLICIES ADMISSION

Access to the FGSES Master's degree in Behavioral and Social Sciences for Public Policy is conditioned by the possession of the following qualifications and results:

  • An Undergraduate degree - or an equivalent degree - or an engineering degree - or an equivalent degree - in behavioral sciences for public policy or in the following related disciplines: experimental psychology, economics, statistics applied to social sciences, sociology, political science
  • To have obtained 180 ECTS credits
  • To have obtained a minimum grade point average of 12/20 or a GPA of 2.4 /4 over the first 5 semesters of the Undergraduate's degree or in all the semesters completed in an engineering school.
     

Applicants to the master’s program must submit a complete file on the dedicated platform (the elements of the file are indicated on the platform). 
 

ALL OTHER ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES WHO HAVE SUBMITTED AN APPLICATION HAVE AN EXAMINATION WHICH CONSISTS OF TWO STAGES:

  • A stage of examination of the candidates' academic file
  • An oral contest with the candidates selected at the end of the academic file examination stage

Candidates selected at the end of the oral contest are admitted if they obtain their undergraduate's degree or their engineering diploma at the end of the academic year, on the one hand, and on the other hand, if their results for the sixth semester are in line with their previous results.
Admitted students who have taken courses in disciplines related to the behavioral sciences may be required to take an accelerated course and/or additional module(s) in the first year in subjects not covered in their previous academic background

The competition takes place between late March and early April 2023.

Applicants must have a minimum level of French and English that allows them to follow the courses.

Scholarships may be awarded based on social criteria, on the one hand, and excellence, on the other.
