On July 9 and 10, we hosted the SDG 16 Conference on Advancing Governance Futures in the Arab Region, bringing together academics, policymakers, and practitioners to exchange perspectives on building more resilient, ethical, and inclusive governance systems for the 21st century.
Over the course of two days, participants explored a range of pressing issues, including public governance trends and emerging challenges in the Arab region, crisis governance and state resilience, citizen-state relations and the future of public service delivery, digital governance and inclusive participation, and the future of public administration, institutions, and state capacity.
The conference provided a platform for interdisciplinary dialogue and the sharing of innovative approaches to strengthening governance across the region.
