Aziz Ajbilou is a Full Professor at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University.

With an expertise in statistics, applied economics and demographics, Pr. Ajbilou has an extensive practical experience related to public policies from numerous leadership positions he held within the public sector. He was Secretary General of the Ministry of General Affairs and Governance between 2013 and 2022. He also served as Director of Studies, Cooperation and Legislation in the Social Economy at the Ministry delegated to the Head of Government in charge of general affairs and governance.

Pr. Ajbilou was also the Director of the Center for Demographic Studies and Research. Prior to that, he was a professor at the National Institute of Statistics and Applied Economics (INSEA).

He also led various projects in cooperation with international organizations such as UNFPA, UNDP, UNICEF, OECD and the World Bank. His work covered a wide range of topics, namely Statistics, Demography, Social Economy, Governance, Social Protection, Poverty, Publics Policies, etc.

Pr. Ajbilou is a laureate from the National Institute of Statistics and Applied Economy (INSEA-Rabat) and PhD graduate in demography from the Catholic University of Louvain in Belgium.
