Yassine Kaouane is a Research & Education Fellow at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University.

After a doctorate in applied mathematics at the University Littoral Opal Coast (Dunkirk, France) and at the University Cadi Ayyad (Marrakech), Yassine Kaouane joined the Faculty of Governance, Economics and Social Sciences in 2019 as a postdoctoral researcher. He was then promoted to research fellow in 2021. He is professor of Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, and Decision Theory at the Faculty.

His research explores “Future Risks & Economic Behavior” which is one of the main research programs deployed by the Africa Institute for Research in Economics and Social Sciences (AIRESS). His work focuses on the observation and analysis of attitudes towards uncertainty. He is an expert in the construction and econometric analysis of behavioral experiments. His current research aims to investigate the Beliefs, Trust, and Perception of Uncertainty.
