Abdelkabir Kamili is an Academic Assistant at the Faculty of Governance, Economics and Social Sciences.

He teaches courses in National Accounting and Macroeconomic Aggregates, as well as Global Public Goods and International Aid. At SCALES, he runs bootcamps on national accounting as well as workshops on digital tools of text and visual production.

Dr. Kamili, PhD in Economic and Social Sciences Applied to Agriculture from the Agronomic and Veterinary Institute - Hassan II, holds a Master’s in Economics and Fisheries Management from the University of Barcelona and a State Engineer Diploma in Rural Economics from the National School of Agriculture in Meknes. His expertise lies in bioeconomic and computable general equilibrium modeling.

With 18 years of experience at the National Institute for Fisheries Research, he published works such as «Africa and World Commodity Markets - Fish products» a chapter in ARCADIA (2019). Noteworthy publications include «Moroccan Fishery Production System and Its Global Dependencies» (OCP Policy Center, 2018) and «World Oil Price and Fish Production in Morocco: A Coupling Approach of a CGEM and a Fishing Model» (Moroccan Journal of Agronomic and Veterinary Sciences). His involvement in FAO-led projects, such as «Cross-Border Fish Trade in the CCMLE Area» (2015), and his FAO- published research on «Bioeconomy and Management of the Small Pelagic Fishery in the Moroccan Central Atlantic» in 2011, further enrich his work.
