El Ahmadi Mohsine is Full professor of Political sociology at The Cadi Ayyad University of Marrakech, He earned his M.Phil and Ph.D at the School of Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences (École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales) in Paris, France.
In 2009-10, Pr. El Ahmadi was a Fulbright scholar at Georgetown University. During that year he also lectured at Lewis and Clark College (Oregon), the Middle East Institute Think-tank, and The Library of Congress.
He also published six books (in French) on topics such as Islamist Movements in Morocco, 2006, The Monarchy and Islam (2006), and “Dreams of the Young”, co-edited with latte Fatima Mernissi, 2008.
In 2016, Pr. Mohsine El Ahmadi co-edited a collection of articles with Pr. Stuart Schaar from Brooklyn University (New-York city) titled “The Birth of the Arab Citizen and the Changing Middle East” at Interlink Publications in Northampton, and currently working on the “Post Arab Spring Era and the Future of Democracy in Morocco” (expected in 2023)
