Dr. Ibrahim Keita is development economist. His research focuses on both macro and microeconomics of economic development, particularly in education, behavior of firms, environmental economics, and the role of institutions in the development process. His current research covers the impacts of access to electricity on educational outcomes and the impacts of access to infrastructure on firm productivity in Sub-Saharan Africa. Recently, he worked on poverty reduction projects as a consultant for the World Bank.
