Rachid El Houdaigui
He is also professor of International Relations at the faculty of law of The Abdelmalek Essaadi University in Tangier, the Royal College of Advanced Military Studies in Kenitra as well as the former Rabat School of Governance and Economics. He is also a visiting professor at Cergy Pontoise University in Paris, Cadix University (Spain) and at La Sagesse University in Beirut, Lebanon. He has made numerous research visits, notably to the NATO Defense College (Rome).
Mr El Houdaigui is also a Senior Fellow at the Policy Center for the New South. His research areas cover Maghreb countries, the Euro-Mediterranean partnership and globalization under three aspects: trade, politics and military.
Mr. El Houdaïgui is also Morocco’s representative at the Euro-Maghreb Center for Strategic Research and Studies (CEMRES) of the 5+5 defense initiative, and the author of numerous books and articles on International relations and geopolitics: The Mediterranean, North Africa and
the Arab world. He is also co-director of the Moroccan-Spanish specialized review “Peace and International Security” and in charge of the Observatory of Mediterranean Studies at Abdelmalek Essaadi University.
Rachid El Houdaigui has a PhD from the University of Toulouse in 2000 under the theme: The Moroccan decision-making system and the management of foreign policy under the reign of Hassan II.
